What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Planner position at ZF Group?
As a Maintenance Planner, you will be part of a dedicated team of 10 professionals, including maintenance technicians, supervisors, and planners. Our team is committed to supporting the maintenance operation by ensuring parts availability, preparing preventative maintenance plans, and ensuring that work orders are completed accurately. You’ll work closely with internal teams to manage and track parts orders, follow up on purchase orders, and monitor delivery dates. Utilizing tools like Axalant and SAP, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining seamless maintenance operations and contributing to continuous improvements in our processes. This is an exciting opportunity to directly impact the success and efficiency of our maintenance team.
What you can look forward to as a Maintenance Planner- Drive infrastructure change within the user and customer environment of the maintenance realm
- Become expert in the subject of data entry / planning / scheduling from the SAP maintenance module. Coordinate condition monitoring and predictive maintenance scheduling.
- Be proactive in support of required modifications to maintenance procedures for continuous improvement
- Review / verify all notifications and work orders for manpower, material, equipment availability and associated analysis utilizing both internal and external resources.
- Responsible for the facilitating weekly area backlog meetings as well as individual PDCA accountability
- Utilizing SAP and other software’s, for capture of all maintenance data, and cost. Perform data entry work/analysis with-in Axalant as well as SAP.
- Maintain integrity of all maintenance data, including support for update of annual equipment PM tasks
- Review and maintain equipment parts catalog(s), equipment history, storeroom min/max levels required to support the operation. Approve stores and purchasing requisitions for scheduled maintenance activities.
- HS Diploma or Equivalent degree.
- 2-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient computer skills, excel, word, MS Office.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar software.
- Axalant experience is strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Systems
- Prior knowledge of inventory systems and the ability to identify parts and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of machines.
- Preferred Two (2) years’ experience in an automotive industry environment with SAP as the MOS.
