About the Team: As a member of the Chassis Module Division that supplies to one of the most well know automotive companies in the world, you will join a team that is committed to excellence, the highest quality standards, and puts our customer first. What you can look forward to as an HR Generalist:
- Develop and implement various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
- Plan and carry out exit interviews for salary employees and analyze data in order to formulate ideas for the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
- Plan and carry out on-boarding and new hire orientation of new employees.
- Respond to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, health and safety concerns, and civil rights complaints; support training and orientation efforts as needed for the site.
- Manage the recruiting process for responsible area, including but not limited to reviewing applications/resumes, scheduling and participating in applicant interviews to fill administrative, professional, and technical job openings; participate in the development of staffing processes and any job fair activities.
- Administer and/or support local wellness programs; encourage participation and local buy-in.
- Maintain company organizational charts; maintain departmental metrics and monthly reporting (Plant KPIs for Workman Comp, Daily Headcount, Absenteeism, HR Quarterly reports, Turnover, OT, and MLM daily measures).
- Provide backup for compensation, benefits, badges, payroll, HRIS maintenance, etc.
Your profile as an HR Generalist:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Labor Relations, or related field.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in the field of HR, specifically in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with recruiting technical personnel at all levels of the business (i.e. engineering, IT, sales, etc.).
- Experience with an HRIS system and maintenance of related data and employee records.
- Proven creativity and analytical methods with a high-level of attention to detail.
- Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues.
- Experience with ADP; Experience and/or deep knowledge of employment law and related government regulations/compliance.
