Quality Inspector I GC -2nd shift

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform final product inspections.

• Perform detailed dock audit inspection according to work instructions (checklist, Quality alert and etc) prior to shipment

• Ensure that any quality-related issues are corrected and sorting activities are initiated according to ZF Red Tag policy.

• Serve as a resource to assembly Line on quality-related questions and part disposition

• Participate in daily meetings about issues that happen during the shifts and supporting activities defined by Leadership

  
  

Essential Skills and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent.

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Access, Powerpoint, Excel, and Word), Macro, or Visual Basic (basic knowledge).

• Professional demeanor with the ability to recognize priority projects and schedule time accordingly.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Minimum 1-year prior stable work experience in a manufacturing environment

  
  

Preferred Skills and experience:

• Knowledge of Standard and Metric Systems

• Demonstrated understanding of SAP Principles

• Proficient use and calibration of standard shop floor gauging ( Micrometers, Calipers, etc )

• Automotive experience
