About the Team: The Customer Logistics team at ZFTG supports our customers on a day-to-day basis with collaboration from cross functional internal teams. Team members interact directly with customers for demands, updates, issues and more! This is a fast paced work environment and great opportunity to join a highly motivated and enthusiastic team!
What you can look forward to as a Planner/Scheduler:
- Create demands and/or production schedules for internal or external suppliers out of internal or external customer demands.
- Develop, monitor, analyze, and/or improve KPIs for assigned logistics processes.
- Perform assigned activities in accordance with lean production principles and aim towards a total cost optimum.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers and/or suppliers.
- Utilize information from internal/external customers, compare with parts/goods available and define production schedules and/or demands, while considering capacities available. Production schedules and/or demands must always reflect to the official production program of ZFTG.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers on a daily basis to ensure parts/goods availability while keeping inventory within pre-defined levels
Your Profile as a Planner/Scheduler:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years’ experience in materials planning and/or customer planning in manufacturing environment.
- 2 years of experience in automotive industry
- Experience with an ERP system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Good written and oral communication (e.g. presentations).
- Broad knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within supply chain planning.
- Experience in SAP (module MM, PP) preferred
