General Contractor Company has an immediate need for Assistant Project Managers and Superintendents for upcoming construction projects in the Five boroughs.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the management of multiple construction projects.
Communication skills to work directly with the client.
Provide technical evaluations, advice and guidance.
Manage subcontractor compliance with contract documents.
Coordinate the work of numerous subcontractors.
Manage daily progress reports.
Contract correspondences.
Coordinate, schedule and manage all construction activities.
Identify and resolve construction problems as they develop.
Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost records.
Manage material submittals and track long lead items Ensure that material received is properly inspected for quantity and quality, and compliance with specification and approved submittals.
Help the project team to comply with all jobsite reporting requirements, including daily reports, field purchase orders, weekly unit reports, weekly updates to the monthly updates to the construction schedule.
Monitor all shop drawing and submittals for compliance with the contract specification and help project managers comply with the submittal schedule, contract documents and company reporting requirements.
Attend required jobsite meetings.
Maintain safety standards.
Track and monitor project submittals, approvals, schedules, and changes.
Close out the project in compliance with the contract documents.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
5-10 years' of successful construction project management experience
5-10 with emphasis on general construction and public sector
Excellent communication and leadership skills OSHA / SST certification Potential Night and Weekend work required
