Technician Educator
Are you a multi-brand experienced technician who enjoys helping and teaching others? At Zimbrick Fish Hatchery Rd., you’ll have the opportunity to instruct and teach our Technician Apprentices some of the most exciting and relevant technologies and needed skills to “jump start” their career and set them on the right path. The purpose of this position is to support Zimbrick Fish Hatchery Rd. in training and developing the next generation of Zimbrick Technicians, assisting in inspection and repair of recon vehicles with our apprentice team, and performing other educational responsibilities within the Zimbrick Automotive group as they relate to service.
What You Will Do
Work directly with the Service Directors in our Technician Educator program and assure its ongoing success.
Monitor and track performance of Apprentice Technicians to make sure they are upholding their responsibilities to our Service Advisors, Customers and Internal departments.
Work with Service Director to Monitor progress of Technician Apprentices through internal and external training programs, and provide performance reviews to supervisors.
Perform hands on training with Apprentice Technicians to teach maintenance, basic repairs, installation of accessories, and used vehicle safety inspections/repairs on vehicles.
Guide Apprentice Technicians to 100% completion of all required training.
Leadership and training in technology applications including estimating system, Video MPI, and evolving vehicle technology.
Stand in for main workshop team leaders when needed.
Act as liaison between main workshop, parts department and education center to ensure proper communication.
Additional responsibilities may be added as the program evolves.

Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 10 year’s related experience or training in high level repair of vehicles of varied brands.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
