Overview
We are seeking an efficient and effective Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in making sure the correct supplies gets sent to hospitals for surgeries. This position requires high attention to detail and a solid understanding of supply chain processes within a distribution center environment.
Responsibilities
- Scan equipment to make sure the correct inventory is assigned to each surgery.
- Take pictures of supplies to make sure there are no discrepancies in inventory counts.
- Communicate with the team in order to get equipment out the door in time for surgeries.
- Organize products on the staging floor to make the operation seamless and efficient.
- Find supplies on the shelves in a timely manner.
- Investigate where certain products are located within our territory and when they will be coming back.
- Assist in the physical movement of products within the office as needed.
- Condense inventory neatly in totes to avoid sending unnecessary quantities to hospitals.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds of equipment.
Skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel.
- Ability to adapt and serve whatever role is needed at any given time.
- Quick learner who can pick things up on the go.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment with urgent needs from clients and hospitals.
- Works well in a team environment where different roles must work together throughout each day.
Your Background
- 2 years related experience, preferably within the medical device industry
- Experience with Inventory Control practices and data analysis.
- SAP experience and proficiency preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license
