Zing Recruiting is seeking a Buyer to join a leading plastics manufacturing company in Greer, SC! This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment with competitive pay.

Buyer Job Summary

• Pay: $30.00 per hour
• Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Type: Temp assignment (6 months)
  
  

Buyer Responsibilities

• Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and ensure adequate supply of materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support production needs and resolve procurement issues.
  
  

Buyer Qualifications

• Education: Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in procurement or buying roles is required.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Analytical skills with the ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance.
• Attention to detail and strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
