Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for our packing lines by troubleshooting and fixing process issues.
- Be the go-to expert for minor technical projects related to packing.
- Lead projects aimed at reducing costs, improving quality, increasing yield, and minimizing material usage.
- Work closely with our Production, Engineering, Automation, and Quality teams to enhance cycle time, productivity, quality, and supply reliability.
- Assist in transferring and implementing new technologies, equipment, and processes from R&D and other sites.
- Design and carry out performance tests for packing equipment.
- Collaborate with Technicians and Maintenance teams during fieldwork and protocol execution.
- Support internal, external, and regulatory inspections (including FDA and EMEA) by providing crucial information about Packaging Technology.
- Help investigate and resolve product quality issues.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to communicate and present technical information effectively.
- 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging, production, process engineering, or project management preferred.
- Six Sigma and/or Lean training preferred.
- Experience with FMEA training or execution preferred.
