Mold Maker

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with an established manufacturer in the Congers, NY area is on the search for an experienced Mold Maker to join their team on a perm/direct-hire basis.

Location: Congers, NY

Hours: 1:00pm-9:00pm, M-F. Fully onsite.

Pay Rate: $42-55/hr

Mold Maker Responsibilities

• Ensure cGMP compliance, workplace safety, and accurate task documentation.
• Maintain, repair, and prepare molds and tooling for production.
• Inspect components for quality and troubleshoot mold-related issues.
• Interpret blueprints and operate CNC/manual machines for precision machining.
• Fabricate, modify, and assemble tooling and mold components.
• Collaborate across departments and recommend design improvements.
• Support continuous improvement and perform additional duties as needed.
  
  

Mold Maker Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, technical school or related experience.
• 5 years’ experience working as a mold/tool maker.
• Knowledge of molding process and ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Good mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to operate all tool room equipment proficiently, good mold and mechanical skills.
• Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and blueprints.
