Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a Tier 1 automotive supplier in McCalla, AL, is seeking skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians to join their team! This is an excellent direct hire opportunity with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician Job Summary

• Pay: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience
• Shift Available:
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Rotating schedule: 3 on/2 off; 2 on/3 off)
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and emergency repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation and electrical issues, including PLCs and ladder logic.
• Maintain, repair, and ensure the daily upkeep of machinery and equipment.
• Assist with equipment setup and relocation.
• Focus on improving uptime/downtime and operational efficiency.
  

Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• Experience:
• 2-3 years in maintenance, including automation and electrical troubleshooting.
• Proficient in PLC troubleshooting, electrical systems (5V to 480V), and schematic reading.
• Skills:
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with PLC design software and general computer applications.
• Certifications:
• Willingness to obtain forklift, overhead crane, and elevated lift licenses.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Must perform physical activities such as climbing, kneeling, and balancing.
