Education
- High School Diploma required
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3 years manufacturing experience
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations
- Union experience preferred
- Assist in planning and performing production activities
- Manage and schedule manufacturing objectives (safety, production, quality, cost, delivery)
- Identify and resolve production issues
- Perform inventory management and report status
- Develop production plans and direct labor
- Implement process improvements
- Communicate updates and errors to managers
- Organize job training for employees
- Issue corrective actions to union associates
- Promote a safe work environment
- Provide tools and resources for safe work
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and processes
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Communicate plant policies and procedures
- Ensure appropriate training for associates
- Supervise labor to produce high-quality products
- Implement process improvements to increase productivity
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
