The Role:
Zinkerz is currently seeking a English Education Coordinator to join its Boston-based team. This individual will help organize and manage ongoing courses for our high school students both by teaching directly and helping oversee our team of freelance math educators. In addition, we’re seeking an individual who would be comfortable with managing existing content and contributing to future content creation for our English and standardized test courses. The ability to travel to support our in-person teaching “marathons” is also desired.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to teaching students at our new online high school
- Assist with the creation of educational materials, including tutorials and practice exams, for high school courses and standardized tests
- Work with Director of Curriculum to ensure the effective use of our content
- Help train and assess teachers and curriculum for English courses
- Support curriculum development, educational research, and evaluation for English courses
- Monitor progress of students as they move through their English curriculum
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, education, or a related field of study
- Experience in English instruction (teaching and tutoring)
- Ability to teach high school English subjects
Recommended Qualifications:
- Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent planning and organizational skills, and keen attention to detail
- Familiarity with Google Drive, Documents, and Sheets
- Passion for education and helping students achieve their goals
- Flexibility to work with students from diverse learning environments and as part of a small and committed team.

Pay: $42,500.00 - $48,000.00 per year
