We are currently looking for a Commercial Insurance Account Manager located in our downtown Salt Lake City, UT location.
Description:
- Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships with a defined customer base to ensure a high level of satisfaction and increased revenue.
- Services and manages all aspects for clients and their policies.
- Maintains and continues to develop client and company business relationships.
- Promotes growth of existing book of business.
- Markets when necessary on renewal and new business.
- Manages and coordinates processing of renewals, audits, cancellations, etc. Informs, educates, and makes recommendations to clients about policy coverages, changes, exclusions, and insurance coverage needs.
- Stays abreast and maintain detailed knowledge of current market conditions and technical knowledge.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires a College Degree and 1 years in insurance industry with underwriting, sales, account management, or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
- Insurance licensing required.
- Basic knowledge of insurance underwriting, sales and renewals.
- Good sales, customer service and client relationship skills.
- Sound communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be detail oriented and well organized.
- Must have solid computer skills.
- Ability to resolve problems independently.
