FSI Receiving Staging Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Food Solutions Operations Manager, this position is primarily responsible for overseeing receiving deliveries from vendors, staging outbound orders for the FSI drivers, and managing the warehouse and storage areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Oversees receiving deliveries from vendors and staging outbound orders for FSI. Supervise staff on proper receiving and staging processes in compliance with HACCP, GMP, and SOP standards. Complete the invoice receiving process in the system on a timely basis and send to accounting for payment.
• Process incoming orders from customers and assign staging tasks to the appropriate persons for fulfillment. Collect and record lot number information on outbound products to wholesale customers.
• Verify loaders log sheets insuring that all required information on labels are correct, staging location recorded, and all orders have been fulfilled.
• Complete and double check drivers log insuring good communication with the drivers on the location of various orders, and special items for distribution to Zippy’s stores from other administrative departments.
• Ensuring staff is following safety procedures for proper lifting, operating forklifts, pallet jacks and other mechanical equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Scheduling:

• Available to work Monday through Saturday, 5:00 am – 7:00 pm.
• Occasional Holiday and Sunday when needed.

Physical Ability:

• Must be able to lift up to 45 - 50 pounds and push up to 350 pounds of products on wheeled dollies.
• Standing/walking up to 6 to 8 hours a day
• Reaching/bending frequently

Mental Ability:

• Good decision-making skills (uses independent judgment)
• Able to perform basic math calculations
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language required

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Must pass pre-employment physical, TB or Mantoux test, and drug screening.

Environmental Conditions:

• Ability to tolerate extreme temperature conditions (refrigeration, freezer, and hot kitchen areas).

Education:

• High School diploma or GED.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse position
• Some supervisory experience
• Knowledge and experience in computer skills, email, creating excel and google spreadsheet, Word, and google Docs.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to operate various motorized warehouse equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, logistics and supply chain.
