Residential Sales Account Executive

Zito is seeking candidates for a Sales Account Executive position. Qualified candidate will be responsible for selling telecommunications products and services to grow penetration of our Internet product for residential and small businesses within a defined service area. Previous Business to Business or Business to Consumer sales experience will be very helpful. GREAT COMMISSION STRUCTURE! Major areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: Identify areas within slow growth markets to identify obstacles/opportunities to increase Internet penetration Generate new revenue from the sale of our products and services in designated areas that are under-performing
Must be able to prospect and close multiple opportunities in parallel, while identifying and providing possible resolution to obstacles to further growth. Meet with key influencers in the area that could help us develop further leads/sales.

Primary Objectives:

• Meet sales objectives for the area.
• Promote the overall success of the company through constantly developing leads and closing new
• Internet sales to residential and small business subscribers in the designated areas.
• Develop relationships to provide new channels for customer growth in designated markets
• Communicate progress and opportunities back to corporate team to foster growth in these areas
• Specific Responsibilities of the Job:
• Generate leads through cold calling, telemarketing, and referrals.
• Identify and meet with influencers within assigned Territory to drive up interest in the Internet product.
• Become knowledgeable regarding assigned Territory
• Identify and qualify potential new customers by telephone and premise visits.
• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new
• products, delivery schedules, etc.
• Be familiar with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and successfully apply them in daily activities.
• Submit and schedule orders via the Zip database
• Submit activity reports, as required.
• Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as become evident.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Candidate must be able to develop a thorough understanding of telecommunications products.
• The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes initiative and is able to maintain professionalism and flexibility in a hectic environment.
• Computer skills are a must.

• Position can be remote but travel of up to 50% to markets will be required.
