What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Account Manager position at ZL Chemicals LTD?
The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for an assigned customer base and will meet defined sales goals through the maintenance of existing customers as well as targeting and developing new business opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers for repeat business
- Direct sales efforts to achieve revenue goals by securing long-term customers and a profitable territory
- Design & implement innovative customer programs to create unique value
- Manage the sales cycle from prospect to close
- Plan, organize and execute a territory development strategy
- Sales forecasting
- Negotiate contracts and pricing
- Resolve internal and external customer issues
- Prospect new customers using phone, cold calls, networking, etc.
- Prospect, contact, and present proposed solutions to new and existing customers
- Establish and implement sales growth plan for each customer and location
- Daily customer interaction
- Meet / exceed sales goals
- Other duties as assigned by your manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree. Major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in upstream oil & gas applications
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong negotiating skills
- Excellent relationship building ability
- Ability to make sound and critical business decisions
- Ability to influence and persuade buying behavior and ability to resolve conflicts when required
- Ability to work with diverse teams
- Strong communication skills (verbal / written)
- Confident and driven to be the best
- Flexibility, leadership, independence
