Key Responsibilities:
Act as first point contact for regional customer technical enquiries related to our range of mobile chemical treatment units.
Build strong working relationships with our regional customers as a trusted product and technology provider.
Develop into a subject matter expert on each of our mobile chemical treatment unit models.
Be competent to install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment in our field units, including:
Flow meters
Pressure transducers
Level & rotating sensors
Electric motors, pumps & augers
Data acquisition systems
Supervise regional preventative maintenance schedules and maintain records.
Ensure frac site visit reports are written and reported on a timely basis.
Oversee the technical training of direct report regional Field Technologists.
Manage Field Technologist deployment and act as first point of contact for any questions they may have.
Absorb and communicate to management any system improvement ideas or customer feedback that may improve the performance of our mobile units.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in oil and gas environment with service-based roles.
An understanding of and experience of working at frac sites in the USA for oil and gas service companies.
Ability to disassemble or repair motors, pumps, flow, level and pressure sensors, etc.
Strong understanding of electronic principles, circuits, and systems.
Proficiency in the troubleshooting of electronic equipment using diagnostic tools and techniques.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under time pressures.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different job sites across the region and beyond. Estimated field travel time is approximately 60%.
Ability to pass the company's drug and alcohol test.
