We are seeking a dedicated Planning and Procurement Analyst to join our team! In this pivotal role, you will take part in our procurement efforts and ensure the efficient sourcing and supply of goods to enhance our inventory performance across the organization. We are looking for a creative individual with an analytical approach to optimize our procurement processes, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at refining procurement and inventory processes and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bolster inventory accuracy, turnover, and availability within the Supply Chain.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate inventory-related challenges and minimize disruptions across all Warehouses.
- Analyze and report on procurement and inventory metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and present insights to senior management.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to establish favorable terms and conditions while mitigating risks.
- Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures that adhere to best practices and compliance standards.
- Oversee the supplier evaluation process, including performance reviews and vendor audits.
- Works with all departments within the Supply Chain to set inventory performance based on corporate inventory/working capital goals.
- Track shipments and coordinate deliveries across each of our warehouses.
- Work with all parties to minimize excess and obsolete inventory within the Supply Chain.
- Identify, create, and implement SOPs, as necessary.
- Play a critical role in the planning, execution, and management of the cycle count program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in procurement and inventory management software and systems (NetSuite and Netstock preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to drive informed decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Must possess the ability to present metric-driven analysis solutions to the executive leadership team.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, primarily Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to effectively interact with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the capability to guide teams to success.
- Exceptional problem-solving acumen, coupled with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Self-motivated individual able to multi-task effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
Hours:
On-Site, Monday -Thursday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm with a 1-hour lunch & Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch
Pay dates are bi-weekly
