Job Description :
The Total Rewards Analyst will have main focus on Leave of Absence.
Responsibilities will include managing and administering leave programs and, in the Americas, (U.S., Canada, Brazil, Mexico).
The position will serve as the main point of contact for employees seeking leaves, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of FMLA regulations in the U.S., excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Responsibilities :
Serve as the primary contact for employees, HR, and management requesting leaves of absence, providing guidance, and explaining the process to ensure understanding of their rights and responsibilities.
Coordinate and communicate with employees, management, and HR team members to facilitate the timely and smooth processing of leave requests.
Responsible for coordinating return to work clearance and reasonable accommodation requests for employees returning from leaves.
Collaborate with HR team members to develop and update leave of absence policies, procedures, and related documents to ensure alignment with current laws and best practices.
Provide ongoing training and education to managers, HR, and employees on leave policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Stay updated on changes in leave regulations and industry trends, ensuring the organization's compliance and recommending any necessary adjustments to policies or procedures.
Coordinate and partner with external vendors to track and support the administration of leaves of absence.
Requirements :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on discretion and confidentiality
Strong analytical, organization, project management, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to conduct root-cause analysis and drive continuous improvement
Knowledge of all pertinent U.S. federal and state regulations related to leaves plans including FMLA and Secure 2.0. Knowledge of interational leave and regulations a plus.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work on various projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Proficiency with the organization's HCM system (Ceridian Dayforce) or similar HRIS system is preferred
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
4 years experience in benefits administration with focus on leaves of absence and retirement plans
SHRM-CP, PHR, CEBS, World at Work, or other HR-related certification is preferred
Education :
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Human Resources or Business Administration
