Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer
This is a highly skilled position responsible for driving solutions to achieve top company goals by leading projects, supporting operations, and coordinating with all business functions.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or 7 years of experience in a technical role. A minimum of 3 years of related work experience is required, with 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and validating manufacturing processes using tools such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and capability analysis.
- Supporting and overseeing technical development in assigned processes.
- Researching, justifying, planning, purchasing, and coordinating the installation of processes and equipment.
- Planning, designing, developing, and validating manufacturing processes and improvements to existing processes using engineering methods.
- Supporting Production and maintenance operations.
- Improving Processes and Eliminating Waste in Key Constraint Areas.
- Improving Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Delivery in All Departments.
- Driving Measurable Continuous Improvement.
- Determining potential savings and calculating ROI for projects.
- Understanding and applying Ergonomics requirements to eliminate work hazards and improve work safety.
- Communicating projects and progress to all levels of the company.
- Utilizing data and analysis tools to measure and drive quality initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or 7 years of experience in a technical role.
- A minimum of 3 years of related work experience is required, with 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to be hands-on and ready to delve into projects to accomplish the company's strategic goals.
- Experience working with process manufacturing.
- Capability of managing projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with CAD (Autocad and Solidworks), MS Office, and Project.
- Experience with industrial automation preferred.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
- Ability to drive and lead change.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
