Skills Required :
- Understand and consistently apply standard manufacturing operating systems
- Validate and bridge operational needs as required to ensure the line is running safely, efficiently, and producing quality parts at rate
- Communication and Recognition
- Build Team Leader and Team Member capability
- Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks
- Basic Administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents
- Assign appropriate trades and engineering resources to maintain production equipment for continuous operation.
- Participate in MOS meetings to write and finalize Maximo 4Ds for equipment failures.
- Identify spare parts and preventive maintenance job plans for new equipment, and review effectiveness for existing job plans. Improve existing maintenance job plans based on failures, input from skill trades and engineering team.
- Promotes and ensure constant improvement in the organization toward the common goal of improving product quality, plant competitiveness and total cost structure
- Ensures department follows government / industry safety and quality standards
- Coordinate the resources and activities required to ensure problem free start-up
- Facilitate start-up / shift to shift meetings
- Facilitate constraint analysis and coordinate activities to eliminate the bottlenecks
- Establish the goal of maximizing equipment efficiency to improve productivity
- Review / approve PM activities by ensuring spare parts availability
- Review department safety measurables & coordinate improvement activities
- Drive continuous improvement and SQDCPME processes
