Description:
- Hybrid Calibration Engineer
- The xHEV Application Calibration Engineer is responsible for HCP calibration development from first Hardware-In-Loop simulators, powertrain dynos and mule vehicles up to production on next generation Stellantis Electrified Powertrain vehicles. The application calibrator will develop HCP calibrations to meet vehicle performance targets, assess vehicle attributes and support all feature development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree
- 3 years of experience
- Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and with others
- High level of analytic ability and creativity
- Ability to balance work effectively on multiple issues
- Action a disciplined test plan and verification process to ensure quality calibrations are released.
- Exhibit strong leadership presence by engaging management as necessary to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Onsite @ CTC β Anywhere from 3-5 days a week
- 0-10% travel
- Driving a Stellantis vehicle is required
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of Calibration tools INCA, MDA, PowerCal, CRETA, CANAlyzer and CANoe
- Experience with electrified powertrain (BEV or Hybrid) calibration or embedded controls
- Knowledge of control system development tools such as Matlab Simulink
- Experience in Powertrain Control solutions development (powertrain control algorithms, On-board Diagnostics/OBD, embedded software)
- DFSS Green Belt Certification with understanding of optimization and design of experiments
