Job Summary
Zobility is seeking a highly skilled Complex Inspection and Process Improvement Specialist to join our quality control team in New York. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality inspection and a proven track record of improving process efficiency and reducing defects.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. They will also have excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to operators and inspectors.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Conduct complex first piece inspections and AS9102 compliant first article inspections to ensure product quality and integrity.
- Train operators and inspectors on best practices, procedures, and inspection techniques to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Assist in problem-solving activities to provide evaluation support for identified nonconformities and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensure that all measuring and test equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to ensure accurate results.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions in English.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math operations.
- At least 5 years of experience in Quality Inspection in a manufacturing setting.
