Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Specialist to join our team. As a Regulatory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our food safety program is developed and implemented to meet all regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety regulations and compliance standards. You will be responsible for managing food safety and compliance systems, providing leadership and technical assistance to operations, and instilling regulatory awareness and commitment.
In this role, you will also be responsible for managing performance and development of the Food Safety Specialist, performing and ensuring required training is maintained, and facilitating regulatory visits and inspections.
You will be the key point of contact for certification audits, including GFSI, NSF Supplement cGMP, Kosher, Gluten Free, Social Compliance, Organic, RSPO, and any other certification audits. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing finished product certification submissions and assisting in maintaining the corrective and preventive action program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage food safety and compliance systems

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5 years QA or Regulatory work experience in food or a related industry
- Working knowledge of QA procedures, statistical analysis, process capability study, process control, and analytical measurement
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Well-developed people and team skills, with leadership ability
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, and flexible
- Basic computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
