What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior QA Manufacturing Inspector position at zobility?
Responsibilities :
- Plan and perform various complex first piece inspections and AS9102 compliant first article inspections to determine manufacturing process effectiveness, and operator and / or technician competency.
- Be able to assess process risk due to variations in set-up, tools used, ambiguous instructions, measuring equipment limitations, human factors, and sub-optimum manufacturing methods.
- Inspect parts using inspection techniques and layouts of varying complexity.
- Aid in manufacturing and production management to ensure workmanship standards are being met.
- Assist all engineering disciplines to support process improvement and investigative inspection activities.
- Help train operators and inspectors as to the best practices, procedures, and inspection techniques.
- Assist in problem solving activities to provide evaluation support for identified nonconformities.
- Proficiency in the use and understanding of automated and manual measuring and test equipment.
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and GD&T concepts.
