About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior PowerOn Developer to join our team and lead the development, customization, and optimization of PowerOn applications for our core banking system. This role involves working closely with business analysts, product owners, and other developers to design and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and improve user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain PowerOn scripts within the Symitar Episys core banking platform.
  • Design and implement custom workflows, reports, and automation using PowerOn to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions.
  • Optimize PowerOn code for performance and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PowerOn scripts, ensuring system reliability and accuracy.
  • Stay updated with PowerOn best practices and emerging trends in Symitar development.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in all development activities.

Qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience in PowerOn development within the Symitar Episys environment.
  • Strong understanding of credit union or banking operations.
  • Experience integrating PowerOn solutions with third-party applications.
  • Proficiency in Symitar Episys core , PowerOn syntax, and system administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with SymConnect, SymXchange, or other Symitar APIs.
  • Knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, SQL, or JavaScript.
