Job Title: Process Safety Specialist
Location: Adrian, MI, United States
Shift: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (40 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
- Lead PSM and RMP program implementation and compliance
- Interface with consultants, auditors, and internal leadership on process safety matters
- Provide subject matter expertise in process safety and risk management planning
- Review and communicate PSM/RMP impacts for facility processes
- Partner with plant personnel and contractors to increase safety awareness
- Collaborate with global and regional safety initiatives
- Report directly to the Director of Process Safety Management
Requirements:
- BS in Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field
- 5 years of experience in PSM and RMP for petrochemical/chemical plants
- Proven track record in PSM program execution and risk mitigation
- Strong project management and cost estimation skills
- Leadership experience in PSM audits and management in the chemical/petrochemical industry
