Fluidra is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team in Youngstown, OH.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
The Production Supervisor will oversee the manufacturing process and make sure that Production departments are running according to plan and efficiently. Work closely with supervisors to plan work, set targets and be sure that finished products meet quality standards. Coordinate all the necessary activities with Materials Department, Quality Control and Production to optimize the use of people, equipment, space and materials. Assure that all employees follow the safety procedures required by OSHA. Assure that all reporting systems are maintained and contain accurate data. Additionally, you will :
Plan and direct the workflow.
Identify and execute production priorities to reach monthly, quarterly and yearly goals.
Assure that all departments follow company’s manufacturing processes to ensure that all orders are manufactured according to products’ quality standards.
Develop and maintain procedures for training employees.
Cross-train workers for maximum production flexibility.
Assure that all Human Resource matters are handled in accordance with company policy, hiring, firing, safety compliance, training and attendance.
Communicate with multiple staffing agencies about additional personnel needs during company’s busy season.
Design, implement and maintain personal measures for self and direct reports.
Ensure that all equipment used for production is maintained and available for its intended purpose.
Oversee one or more area or an entire plant.
Coordinate with different departments in the company.
Communicate with shipping manager about the shipping schedule in order to spread the workload equally between the departments.
WHAT WE SEEK
1-5 years in Manufacturing, Planning and Management.
Good understanding of SOP’s and good organizational skills.
Strong leadership skills
Strong communication skills
Familiar with Lean Manufacturing concept
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent
