Duties
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently, ensuring optimal use of healthcare providers' time.
- Manage incoming calls, providing excellent phone etiquette while addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling, billing, and maintaining health records.
- Verify insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations prior to appointments.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office correspondence.
- Coordinate with hospital staff to facilitate referrals and follow-up appointments as needed.
- Ensure accurate coding using ICD-10 for billing purposes.

- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar medical scheduling software.
