Position Summary
The Data Surveillance and Integrity Analyst is responsible for monitoring testing procedures, reporting test results, and ensuring the integrity of data and equipment within the quality control laboratory. This role involves meticulous observation of testing practices, continuous surveillance of data, accurate documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards to support the release of vaccines and pharmaceutical products.
Hours: 1st shift. Evening and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.
Position Responsibilities
- Surveillance of Testing Practices: Monitor and observe testing procedures to ensure they are conducted according to established protocols and standards.
- Standard Operating Procedures: write SOPs governing surveillance practices for the QC laboratories.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data generated from quality control tests.
- Data Surveillance: Perform ongoing surveillance of data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues that may impact product quality.
- Compliance: Ensure all testing, data surveillance, and reporting activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate data and documentation related to testing practices and data surveillance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with laboratory technicians, quality assurance teams, and other stakeholders to maintain high standards of data integrity.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving testing and documentation practices, data management processes, and overall quality control operations.
Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Virology, Immunology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a quality control laboratory setting within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with quality control processes for vaccines and pharmaceutical products.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Experience performing chemical and/or biological analytical testing.
- Experience authoring SOPs and related forms in regulated environments.
