Job Description
Title: Associate Trainer – Production Operators
Reports to: Quality Control Manager
Location: St. Peters, MO

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and delivery of instructional material for Operator Instructional Sheets (OIS) operator training, new or modified technical training courses.
- Participates in Operator New Hire Orientation and explains the manufacturing process as well training requirements.
- Introduces all new Operators to the areas they will be working and their mentors and explains all safety protocol and PPE requirements.
- Performs competency testing (evaluations) for career moves in pay grade.
- Demonstrates and utilizes effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills.
- Can independently develop entry and advanced level courses.
- Able to utilize multimedia technology and authoring tools
- Collaborates with production management, manufacturing engineering, process engineers.
- Assists in development of training content - handouts, outlines, agendas and syllabi.
- Tailors training content based on trainee's specific needs.
- Contributes to team planning for both training and development schedules.
- Delivers Training Programs / Modules based on training plan requirements.
- Incorporates motivating, creative, and interactive training techniques to enhance the training experience, in an effort to maximize learning and retention.
- Ensures new training methodologies incorporated into training approach.
- Additional duties assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Technical degree in related field desired
- Manufacturing production floor training experience in a related area to the position with strong performance results preferred
- Prior experience developing and maintaining training programs
- Knowledge and understanding of continuous flow manufacturing processes
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent Presentation skills
- Outgoing personality
- Great communication, collaboration, and flexibility to work with internal groups and external customers
- Self-starting, motivated, hardworking, and needs to be very flexible
