Position Overview:
Term: 3 months with potential to extend
Location: on-site in Indianapolis, IN 46219
Pay: $30-$35/hr
Hours: M-F, 8-5pm
The Network Admin will engage in various tasks to deliver stable and efficient network services while managing and maintaining both hardware and software essential to their proper functioning.

- Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.
- Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation.
- Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Arranging scheduled upgrades.
- Investigating faults in the network.
- Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
- Reporting network status to key stakeholders.
What you will bring to the team:
- Experience monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with network users about solving existing system problems.
- Experience operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.
- Experience coordinating computer network access and use.
- Experience designing, configuring and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.
