About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, cash management, and process implementation at Zoom Casa. This role will oversee all fiscal activities and ensure accuracy, integrity, and efficiency across financial operations.

As a key member of the finance team, the Controller will work directly with leadership to scale operations, optimize financial processes, and prepare for 2025 audited financials.

Key Responsibilities

🔹Financial Oversight & Reporting

• Manage the monthly close for all entities, including journal entries, inter-company transactions, and reconciliations
• Oversee financial reporting (legal entity, consolidated, and management reports)
• Prepare and analyze P&Ls, KPIs, and financial metrics

🔹 Accounting & Cash Management

• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, fixed assets, and cash transactions
• Manage cash flow and liquidity across multiple entities
• Work with external accountants to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance

🔹 Process & Systems Implementation

• Implement workflow management software to streamline accounting processes
• Lead initiatives to enhance financial controls and process automation
• Prepare for the implementation of audited financials (2025)

🔹 Strategic Finance & FP&A

• Support financial planning & analysis (FP&A) efforts
• Develop and enhance financial models and reporting structures

Qualifications & Experience

✅ CPA with 2-3 years in public accounting

✅ Additional 5 years in corporate accounting or a Controller role

✅ Strong experience with ERP systems (preferably Sage Intacct)

✅ Real estate industry experience (preferred)

✅ Experience with multi-entity cash management

✅ Proven track record in designing and implementing financial processes & controls

✅ Strong knowledge of US GAAP, consolidation reporting, and elimination entries

✅ Advanced Excel skills (e.g., modeling, data analysis)

✅ High accuracy, attention to detail, and decision-making ability

✅ Excellent communication and leadership skills
