About Us: Zoom Room specializes in positive reinforcement dog training. Our classes are designed to boost dogs’ confidence and teach them new behaviors in a supportive, step-by-step environment. We offer a range of classes, including obedience, agility, puppy training, enrichment workshops, and more! With small class sizes, our trainers provide personalized attention to every pup.
Position Overview: As a Professional Trainer and Sales Associate, you will:
- Lead engaging group classes and workshops using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Conduct private lessons and create tailored behavior plans.
- Assess incoming dogs and advise on the best training options.
- Supervise social events and playgroups to create a fun environment.
- Promote retail products and class packages, helping clients find the right training tools.
- Support daily operations, providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a clean and organized facility.
- Grassroots engagement for community outreach.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
- Previous customer service experience is essential.
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to complete our proprietary training program (travel required, costs covered).
- Basic computer skills (Apple products preferred).
- A genuine interest in canine behavior and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and reliable transportation.
- Availability for weekday and weekend shifts.
- Commitment to a minimum of one year and willingness to submit to a background check and sign a Non-Compete Agreement.
Qualifications Needed:
- Experience in dog training or working with dogs in a group/private setting a must.
- Background in facilitating group discussions or training sessions.
- Certifications such as CPDT-KA, Animal Behavior College, or Karen Pryor Academy are a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
