About The Team
Join our Finance team for a cross-functional internship experience, focusing on our Financial Controls & Assurance program. You'll collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Audit, and other stakeholders to understand key financial processes and gain insights into business operations. This role reports to Zoom’s Financial Controls & Assurance Leader. You will work with a diverse, energetic team of Finance professionals in San Jose, gaining hands-on experience and immersion in Zoom's culture.

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations

Join our Finance team for a cross-functional internship experience, focusing on our Financial Controls & Assurance program. You'll collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Audit, and other stakeholders to understand key financial processes and gain insights into business operations. This role reports to Zoom’s Financial Controls & Assurance Leader. Responsibility
- Participating in detailed walkthroughs of critical financial processes, including Quote to Cash (Revenue), Purchasing, Financial Reporting, GL Close, etc
- Collaborating with the Accounting team and external auditors from KPMG to evaluate effectiveness of internal financial controls
- Assisting in specific projects on behalf of the Accounting department, gaining hands-on experience in various financial tasks
- Gaining visibility into accounting practices, business processes, systems, and overall corporate finance operations
- Engaging in cross-functional collaboration with teams across the organization to understand interdepartmental dynamics and identify/recommend opportunities to drive efficiency/automation
- Be pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Have analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Have enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to problem-solving
