What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Quality Intern position at Zoomph?
The Data Quality Intern will support the Solutions team by ensuring the accuracy and reliability of labeled data. This role focuses on validating, auditing, and improving data quality across various projects and processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Label and validate AI-generated logo data, broadcast television data, and social media data.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of training data to external systems.
- Audit data labeling processes for accuracy and consistency.
- Test and evaluate platform features and updates related to data management.
- Verify the performance of new data models, ensuring accurate outputs. Identify and document false positives and missed detections in data workflows.
- Collaborate with the team to develop solutions for improving data quality and processes.
- Conduct basic research to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in data management. Support the team in collecting, organizing, and preprocessing data as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION
- High School diploma required; currently pursuing a Bachelor s degree or Masters Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI related fields, Analytics related field (in the context of Sports), or other related fields.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience with data validation, quality assurance, or related tasks is preferred but not required.
