Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a key role in ensuring exceptional client relations and operational efficiency at Zoroco Packaging. This position is responsible for offering excellent customer service experience, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless coordination between internal departments, including Quality, Operations, and Shipping. The role involves tracking orders, managing customer communications, and ensuring accurate data entry within the company’s ERP system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Customer Service Representative is expected to perform one or more of the following essential job functions based on the business assignment (detailed):
- Responsible party in supporting the food safety culture of the company.
- Serve as a key member of the Client Relations team, managing customer expectations, fostering open communication, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and continuous business engagement.
- Lead and facilitate weekly client relations calls for all assigned clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Act as a primary resource for troubleshooting and resolving customer complaints, special requests, and problem orders in a timely manner.
- Track customer-related activities and escalate pressing issues to Quality, Operations, or Senior Leadership as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely follow-up on product specifications, required documentation, order status, and order modifications.
- Coordinate with customers to collect and manage data for new product specifications, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Organize and maintain customer files, forms, contracts, product specifications, and relevant data in an efficient and accessible manner.
- Ensure purchase orders and forecast data are consistently received, tracked, and updated to maintain inventory accuracy and meet production demands.
- Maintain professional, transparent, and effective communication with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
- Continuously engage in self-development to improve client relations and Industry knowledge.
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a direct liaison between customers, shipping teams, and internal departments, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Accurately enter and update data within Zoroco Packaging’s ERP System, ensuring real-time inventory management, order tracking, and reporting.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced production and planning environment while prioritizing critical tasks.
- Adapt to new challenges and take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the company’s operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in safety projects and on safety committees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities / Qualifications:

- Proficiency in inventory control systems and data management within an ERP system.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring data entry and order tracking accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. regularly, as needed.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and work extended hours when required.
- Comfortably working in varied environments, including office settings, food production areas, dry storage, frozen storage, and outdoor conditions year-round.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in customer relations, order management, inventory coordination, or administrative support in a food production or warehouse environment preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP or inventory management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to meet role expectations while maintaining a collaborative and positive work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
