Position: Business Analyst
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months
Responsibilities:
- Works with internal business users and assigned project resources eliciting, collecting, and analyzing business requirements for small to medium sized project implementations, ongoing maintenance, and system enhancements; conducts business analysis to determine underlying operational and/or automaton needs
- Collaborating with agile feature team members (product owners, testers, developers, agile delivery managers, UI/UX designers) as a go-between to communicate business requirements, functional behaviors of the feature, and business priorities based on strategic directives
- Contributes to data model, system architecture solutions, produces detailed requirements and specifications, current and future state business processes, wireframes, and models used by business users and development team; analyzes business processes and considers operational efficiencies and system integrity
- Produces testing documents and test cases, and performs testing as required; reviews test plans and identifies testing gaps
- Performs other tasks and special projects, as required (i.e., supporting colleagues in troubleshooting, investigation, and knowledge transfers). Builds knowledge of industry topics and trends through internal training, external training and self-study, as appropriate
- Minimum level of Education:
- Bachelor Degree. List preferred program(s) Healthcare, Mental Health, Technology, Engineering, Science,
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience in Business Analysis
Specialized Skill & Knowledge Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a business analyst preferably in a technically oriented environment and worked on technical assignments and/or projects
- Solid understanding and work experience in Product Development Lifecycle
- Demonstrated knowledge or experience with various analysis and techniques to write detailed specifications and requirements for software development
- Experience with and uses various visual modelling techniques that is appropriate for the type and scope of the assignment
- Understanding concepts in data modelling and relational database design
- Experience analyzing data using SQL
- Effective communication skills
- Proven track record of engagement with business stakeholders from clinical/operations to customer success and sales to translate business needs into clear requirements for engineering
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Ability to work independently, takes initiative, and exercise good judgement.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and creative-thinking skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of software development concepts (focus on internet applications and mobile applications).
