Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and management of various events. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of event planning from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Develop and maintain event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and managed effectively.
- Coordinate with vendors including catering services, venues, and entertainment to ensure seamless event execution.
- Oversee event marketing strategies to promote events effectively and attract attendees.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
- Handle contracts with vendors and venues, negotiating terms as necessary to benefit the organization.
- Ensure high standards of guest services throughout the event, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and gather feedback for future improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning or management, preferably within a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting principles related to events management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in guest services with a focus on creating memorable experiences for attendees.
- Familiarity with catering operations and vendor management is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
