Position Overview
The Director, Procurement & Sourcing (CORP) for HAECO Americas is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the procurement and sourcing activities within the commercial aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sector. This position demands a strategic leader who can drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and innovation in supply chain management, ensuring the highest quality standards and sustainability in procurement practices.
Essential Job Duties
- Strategic Procurement Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with HAECO Americas' business objectives, focusing on cost savings, quality improvement, and risk mitigation.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Forge and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure optimal terms and performance while fostering long-term partnerships.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, while providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Cost Control and Budget Management: Monitor and manage procurement budgets, ensuring expenditures are within allocated limits and identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements, maintaining ethical standards and transparency.
- Procurement Systems and Technology: Oversee the implementation and utilization of procurement systems and technologies to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and provide actionable insights through data analytics.
- Market Analysis and Trend Monitoring: Conduct thorough market analysis and monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantages in sourcing activities.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to address potential supply chain disruptions, ensuring continuity and resilience in procurement operations.
- Sustainable Procurement: Champion sustainable procurement practices, promoting environmental and social responsibility in sourcing decisions and supplier engagement.
What you need: (Requirements)
Minimum
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement and sourcing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the commercial aviation MRO sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and technologies.
- Solid understanding of market analysis and industry trends.

Salary : $149,000 - $190,000
