As a Junior Developer, Email- Intern you will support our development team in designing and building electronic messaging while learning the ins and outs of electronic customer relationship management. Junior Developer, Email - Intern
As a Junior Developer, Email- Intern you will support our development team in designing and building electronic messaging while learning the ins and outs of electronic customer relationship management. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to meeting our clients’ goals while providing you with an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally as you embark on your digital marketing career.
What You’ll Do:
- Guided by our lead developer, you will deliver exceptional email campaigns using HTML/CSS design tools
- Collaborate with the team to determine the best structure and layout for mobile-responsive emails based on comp creative and assets
- Work with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, XD, or Illustrator
- Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud to personalize AMPscript-powered emails
- Utilize project management skills to maintain well-structured and efficient workflows that ensure the build, location, and logic of each project are tracked and organized
- Embrace the role of a meticulous QA tester, employing Litmus to conduct comprehensive tests
- Participate and contribute to Development department projects, activities, and growth
- Collaborate across all our departments including Account Services, Development, Operations, Data and Reporting, and Creative as needed
- Candidates should be about to enter the final year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline with strong academic performance in marketing related fields such as Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, or Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Business Administration, or other related fields with coursework in coding and development.
- Demonstrated proficiency in design tools such as HTML or CSS
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or another ESP
- High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative
- Effective oral and written communication skills (fluency in English)
- Empathy, adaptability and emotional intelligence
- Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset
- Self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks
- Aptitude for, and enjoyment of, working in teams
