- Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and in consultation with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language difficulties, using evidence-based techniques and interventions
- Monitor and document students' progress regularly, and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom curriculum and activities
- Educate and train teachers, parents, and other school staff on strategies to support students' communication skills in the classroom
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess and support students with other special needs or learning disabilities
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing input on students' communication goals and progress
- Stay updated on the latest research and development in the field of speech and language pathology, and apply that knowledge to practice
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
- Knowledge of assessment tools and techniques for speech and language disorders
- Familiarity with interventions and strategies for addressing various speech and language difficulties
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload of students
- Strong documentation and report writing abilities
Salary : $35 - $45
