The Final Quality Control (IPQC3) Inspection Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of production inspectors, ensuring that production delivery and quality metrics are met. The IPQC3 Inspection Manager will focus on employee productivity, quality, safety, and training, typically supervising a team of supervisors, leads, and inspectors.
What you'll do:
- Provide Work Direction to the Extended Team
- Communicate overall priorities to the extended team of supervisor and team leads to meet company goals:
- Ship date (day/week/month)
- Quantity of units
- Aged units
- Capacity
- Efficiency
- Quality issues from production and/or vendors
- Safety & 6S
- Lean Tools
- Problem solving tools and Action plan (PDCA).
Personnel Supervision
- Attendance / OT / PTO Execution
- Training Execution
- Staffing Execution
- Workload Balance
- Compliance with SOPs and work standards
- Performance evaluation and feedback
Issue Resolution
- Resolve/ escalate issues regarding worker problems, complaints, or grievances
- Ability to act as a decision-maker regarding inspection results and
- consequent workflow
- Process Improvement / 6S Leadership
- Work with Manufacturing teams to identify and execute process/tool improvements:
- Peer Manager(s)
- Manufacturing Engineering / Manufacturing Quality Engineering
- Maintenance Team
- Monitor and maintain KPIs regarding IPQC3-collected data and findings to make data-driven decisions
What you bring:
- 3 years of leadership experience in high complexity technology manufacturing environment
- Quality experience in a high-tech product manufacturing environment
- Lean manufacturing hands on experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Ability to prioritize workload and possess excellent multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent communication (spoken and written) skills, including the ability to explain and present technical information and train/advise/lead line inspectors.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly.

- Ability to lead an inspection team
- Ability to simplify issues/direction and communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of employees.
- Ability to pull information together from numerous sources and consolidate into a plan/direction for the organization.
- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred, but not required.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/management and/or equivalent related work experience
