We are currently seeking a VP of Operations to lead and drive the growth of our Birmingham, AL location, overseeing all aspects of our taxi business operations.

Key Responsibilities of the VP of Operations:
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships through proactive engagement and outreach.
- Lead the recruitment, training, and development of location staff and independent contractor drivers, focusing on recruitment, retention, and performance.
- Ensure seamless communication between location staff and support teams for efficient operations.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance to ensure the fleet is operational and meets service demands.
- Manage safety and training programs to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and contract obligations.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure service levels consistently meet or exceed expectations.
- Conduct regular audits of operational processes and implement improvements as needed.
- Monitor key performance metrics regularly to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Continuously assess location performance, implement action plans, and develop strategies to achieve financial, safety, and operational goals.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure efficient and consistent operations.
- Participate in labor and employee relations activities to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Provide insights to support contract renewals and business expansion.
- Develop and manage the location’s annual budget to meet financial objectives.
Qualifications for the VP of Operations:
- 5-10 years of experience in Operations Management, including leadership and P&L responsibility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead teams.
- A commitment to team development and mentorship to drive engagement and performance.
- Collaborative, results-driven leadership style.
- Proven ability to drive operational success and meet business objectives.
