VP of Operations

Key Responsibilities of the Vice President of Operations:

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through direct engagement and outreach initiatives.
• Lead the recruitment, training, and mentorship of staff and independent contractor drivers through a comprehensive hiring and retention program.
• Foster effective communication with location staff and support teams.
• Oversee the vehicle maintenance plan, ensuring fleet readiness to meet service demands.
• Manage safety and training programs to ensure compliance with company, contract, and regulatory standards.
• Regularly interact with clients to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
• Conduct periodic audits of departmental performance.
• Analyze key operational metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Continuously manage location metrics, identify issues, and develop action plans to meet financial, safety, and operational goals.
• Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Participate in labor and employee relations activities at the location.
• Provide insights and information to support contract renewals.
• Develop and present the location’s annual budget.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-10 years in Operations Management with leadership experience, including P&L responsibility.
