ZUMBACH ELECTRONICS is known as a world leader in industrial measurement, process control, and Data acquisition systems for extrusions in the manufacturing process of Cable, Plastics, Medical Tubing and Hot/Cold Steel.
Performs operational tests on a wide variety of industrial measurement and control equipment and systems, per test procedures by using measuring instruments and computer test programs.
Use of oscilloscopes, pulse generators, digital multi-meters, power
supplies, special test fixtures to test new equipment. Mechanical
disassembly and reassembly of products required.
Interpret test data and checks results against specifications, test
procedures and data sheets to determine proper functioning and quality
of product.
Job Qualifications & Competencies
- Associates Degree in Electrical Technology desired or equivalent work experience
- At least 1 year of testing or working with electronics experience a plus
- Good understanding of analog and digital electronics principles.
- Strong electro-mechanical skills preferred.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical data
- Ability to understand and follow written instructions and schematics
- Must be computer literate, possess good written, verbal skills
- Able to follow directions and ask questions to assure understanding
- Experience with electrical soldering
- Proficient in the use of hand tools
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
