Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Front Desk Team and the Practice Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving conversions. You will play a crucial role in managing staff, inventory, collections, office flow/schedule, patients, calls and leads, while fostering a positive, team work environment and positive experience for patients.
Duties
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of front desk staff, focusing on effective interviewing and leadership skills.
- Responsible for daily accounts due and collections.
- Manage daily operations including leads, calls, emails, welcoming patients, inventory management and sales management to meet goals.
- Motivate your team and implement effective team work strategies and positive working relationships with peers.
- Work closely with the Practice Manager and Doctor in implementing various office protocols and procedures.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained by effectively communicating with both patients and team members.
- Oversee the operation of the leads management system to ensure accurate transactions and reporting.
- Help maintain practice inventory and online store standards by organizing merchandise displays and ensuring proper inventory management.
- Collaborate with the Office Manager to promote office growth.
- Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance team productivity and morale.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience as an assistant manager and in sales is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self motivator, independent worker, reliable and dedicated.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with customers and staff alike.
- Familiarity with patient EMR systems is advantageous but not required.
