What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Actuary or AVP Position position at Zurich Insurance Group?
Zurich North America is a leading provider of commercial property-casualty insurance solutions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuary or AVP to join our Middle Market and E&S Reserving team.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the E&S Business Unit in providing actuarial estimates of IFRS 17 reserves, coordinating reserve study deep dives and ad hoc analysis, and communicating results to Business Unit and Finance leadership.
To be considered for this role, you must have a strong understanding of IFRS 17, commercial lines reserving, and project management skills. You should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to share technical results with audiences at varying levels of analytic understanding.
We offer a competitive salary range of $146,500-$239,800 per year, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 20%.
