This position's responsibility is to act as a leader in our Straight Through Processing initiatives in Travel Claims. The Claims STP Analyst, with support from our Senior Claims Adjusters, will serve as the point person for maintaining and building our program across Travel Guard Claims. This position is ideal for individuals who consider themselves experts with our travel insurance products and pride themselves in being accurate in assessments of various claim types.

This position's responsibility is to act as a leader in our Straight Through Processing initiatives in Travel Claims. Responsibilities include
- Complete analysis of new and updated travel insurance products.
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly reviews of system and user performance specfic to STP.
- Manage and complete User Acceptance Testing to ensure rule outcomes align with product intent.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all STP work initiatives.
- Analyze data & trends to provide recommendations for process improvements aimed at driving claim handling efficiencies.
- Collaborate with internal departments & team members to gather relevant information and coordinate updates to STP Rules.
- Juggle multiple STP initiatives simulaneously and navigate priorities with varying due dates.
- Provide support to Claims QA & Complaints Analyst, when called upon.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field and 2 or more years of past travel insurance claims experience
- Proven claims experience handling Travel and/or NAC claims
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Knowledge of travel insurance products
- AIC, AIS, SCLA, or CPCU a plus, but not required.
- Excellent awareness of industry practices surrounding Claims Handling together with strong knowledge of subject matter and ability to apply it to the role
- Experience in claims analysis and audit, desirable, but not required
- Proven track record of upholding high quality standards within Travel and/or NAC claims
- Ability to make recommendations on action and improvement plan
- Meticulous attention to detail: Ability to ensure accuracy in documentation and responses.
- Well-organized and able to work with limited supervision: Demonstrate initiative and self-sufficiency in managing responsibilities.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage competing priorities: Maintain focus and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Communicate effectively with internal and external clients, maintaining a high degree of clarity, confidence, and professionalism.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
